Late..But on Time

August has slowly crept up on all of us. That means for me..One more month to get ready for my new teaching position. Hoping and praying I get everything finished in time.
August means it is time to link up with Farley: http://ohboy3rdgrade.blogspot.com/ and complete her Currently.

Just to let you know I typed this before heading out of town on Thursday...however I was running short on time and didn't post on August 1st....know the thought was there. :)

Listening: A storm is a coming. I am sitting here typing and listening to the thunder. Hopefully it won't last long.

Loving: The weather at the shore has been a bit cooler lately. It sure beats the 100 degree weather! One can actually function.

Thinking: So much to do..so little time. Even though I have been preparing daily for weeks. I still need to gather containers and materials. Looking forward to carting all this "stuff" from my house and getting organized in my new room.

Wanting: My girls and I have a Christian retreat on the beach tonight and tomorrow. I am wanting it not to rain too hard so that we can enjoy ourselves. The rain did was out one night of events however the sun shone bright on Friday! A side note: We had an awesome time the past few days.

Needing: A nap would be great right about now. I feel like this summer I have barely been able to regroup. My oldest works till midnight 5 days a week. That means I am not getting to bed until 1 am...then getting up at 6am. I am used to having 7 to 8 hours of sleep a night.  BTW: I slept 10 hours last night! It must have been all that fun in the sun and the message of the band StarField and the speaker Jeff Bethke. Unheard of!  Came home actually rested.

  1. I have post its on my list, too - you really can't have too many! I've been obsessed with them - and the flags and tabs!! My favorite school supply, after markers!

  3. Post Its, yes! I love the cute ones you can find in the Dollar Bin, but they never stick well! Have to buy the actual Post It brand! :) I got some new Mr. Sketch markers this year, too--mine lasted 2 years, whoo! :)
